Who we are

Minimal Portraits ("we", "us") operates the service at minimalportraits.com, which lets you create custom minimalist faceless portraits from your photos.

What data we collect

Photos you upload — used only to generate your portrait and to support post-purchase edits (amendments). We do not use your photos to train AI models or for marketing.
Generated portraits — stored temporarily so you can preview, purchase, download, and request edits.
Payment data — processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details; Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
Technical data — such as IP address, for rate limiting and security. We may log request metadata (e.g. errors) to operate the service.

How we use your data

We use your photos and generated images solely to provide the service: generating portraits, delivering your purchase, and applying the amendments you request. We retain minimal data needed for that purpose and for support (e.g. fulfilling your order and handling any issues).

Storage and retention

Portrait and original photo data are stored in secure cloud storage (Vercel Blob). We may run automated cleanup of old session data that has not been purchased. After you purchase, we keep the data needed to deliver your download and any amendments you request; we do not retain your data longer than necessary for those purposes.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your photos or portraits with third parties for marketing or advertising. We share data only with service providers that help us run the service (e.g. hosting, storage, payment processing), under strict confidentiality and data-processing terms.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. To request this, contact us (e.g. via the contact details on the site or in the FAQ). If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the latest version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
